Grant Gardiner

Grant is a passionate horseman who enjoys working with young horses of all breeds. Patient and kind, he is focused on encouraging the horses to relax and enjoy their work. He emphasizes the importance of correctly socialising the young horse to build trust and confidence in their handler. Never make an issue of things they may fear, such as creek crossings or mailboxes. Take the time it takes to encourage a positive reaction.

Grant’s passion for young horses began with Agraciado, purchased as a seven month oldcolt. Together Grant and Agraciado would go trail walking and trotting around a 7km rainforest circuit. Just as much fun as it was training, the formed a very special and unique bond between man and horse. Today they enjoy riding the same route.

Grant enjoys following the training principles of Classical Dressage and he finds inspiration from the Masters, including the late Mr Nuno Oliveira. Together with our bay Spanish mare Diestro Bengala he attends Working Equitation clinics and competitions.
