OUR TEAM
Our passion at Cristogracia is to promote PREs as performance horses, capable of competing at the highest levels, as well as being wonderful companions. We pride ourselves in producing quality horses with correct handling and training. Helping people to understand and communicate with their horses is also a great passion of ours.
HORSE TRAINING
Our passion is to help riders and horses understand each other. We teach Natural Horsemanship techniques to help you communicate with your horses like another horse does. Our students range in age from 1 to 80 years old and include riders and their horse; and horse lovers without their own animal.
RIDER EDUCATION
With two qualified instructors, Cristogracia offers ongoing support to all clientele and the training programs are flexible to suit the goals of individuals. All ages and all experience levels are catered for in a safe and fun environment. The patience and kindness of our school horses make for a pleasurable ride.
Performances
Cristogracia is now offering public performances to private groups. Horses, handlers and spectators share the cozy indoor arena and enjoy displays of natural horsemanship, long-reining, vaulting, liberty work, comedy skits and authentic Spanish costumes. We tailor the performances to suit your needs.
About Us
Picturesque highland pastures ringed by pristine rainforest enfold the heart of Cristogracia, a Spanish horse stud and training facility turning out top quality performance horses. Located south west of Cairns on the tropical Atherton Tablelands, this prime beef and dairy country is renowned for its fertile soils of volcanic origin. Established in 2003 Cristogracia is a family business owned and operated by husband and wife team, Grant Gardiner and Chris Maudsley. Built on love, the stud strives to produce beautiful, intelligent Spanish horses that are a joy to ride, train and compete. Great pride is taken not only in the exclusive breeding program but also in the individualized training of both horse and rider from the early stages to competitive levels. Cristogracia has a solid reputation for producing light, responsive horses with confidence in their riders.
THE SPANISH HORSE
Not only stunning to look at, the Spanish horses have a true work ethic. Progressing from the stables of European Royalty to become cavalry mounts, stock horses, driving horses and the dancing horses of the Haute Ecole, prized for their bravery, agility, honesty and reliability.
